NFDA Convention: Military Heroes to be Honored During Service of Remembrance

Join your colleagues in Charlotte as we honor our veterans, pay tribute to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for their country and remember funeral service family and friends who have died in the last year during the Service of Remembrance, taking place Tuesday, October 9, at 9:45 a.m. in the Charlotte Convention Center Ballroom.

This year's Service of Remembrance will reflect the solemn and reverent military funerals that are conducted with precision every day at Arlington National Cemetery. The U.S. Army's 3rd Infantry Regiment, "The Old Guard," will render full military honors during a service that promises to be a moving tribute to our heroes. In addition, Col. Jack E. Lechner Jr. (U.S. Army, Ret.), deputy superintendent at Arlington National Cemetery, will offer personal insight into these special services. We will also pay tribute to Convention attendees who have served or are currently serving in the military.

NFDA thanks Batesville Casket Company, Cemetery Funeral Supply, Deaton-Kennedy Company, and Roberts & Downey Chapel Equipment for their contributions to the Service of Remembrance. NFDA also thanks FuneralOne for creating the memorial video.
