Attention Funeral Home Owners: Does NFDA Have an Updated List of Your Licensed Staff?

When a funeral home becomes a member of NFDA, every licensed funeral director or embalmer employed by that firm is also member of the association at no additional charge. NFDA wants to make sure all licensed staff who work at member firms have access to the valuable tools and resources to which they are entitled as members of the association: continuing education information, NFDA Bulletin, Memorial Business Journal, advocacy updates, a login ID and password for members-only information on the NFDA website, a copy of The Director (and access to the digital edition of the magazine) and more.

Having access to essential information from NFDA makes your licensed staff better employees and better funeral service professionals.

If you are the primary contact for your funeral home and you haven't provided NFDA with an updated list of all licensed staff within the last year, please take a moment to do so today. Please send an email to memberservices@nfda.org with:

  • Your name, funeral home name, city, state and unique email address.
  • The following information for each licensed funeral director and embalmer:
    • Full name
    • Funeral home name, city and state (if different than funeral home location at which you work)
    • Email address (unique for each person)
    • Date of birth
    • License number and state
    • Phone number (if it differs from the main number of the funeral home at which you work)
    • Mobile phone number (optional)
