  • The National WWII Memorial dedication will be held Saturday, May 29, at 2:00 p.m. Gates will open between 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. Ceremonies will begin at noon, and will include two hours of entertainment leading up to the dedication. The pre-ceremony event will include live music and video images of the wartime era. Tickets are required for this event.

Due to overwhelming demand for tickets to the National World War II Memorial dedication event, the number of requests received now exceeds the number of seats available, so an extensive wait-list already exists. However, ABMC is accepting ticket requests for the dedication ceremony that will be placed on a wait-list should tickets become available in the coming months. Wait-list requests can be submitted by using the form on the ABMC website wwiimemorial.com.

Satellite coordinates will be provided so that a simulcast viewing of the ceremony can be included in local celebrations.
