New Cremation Documents Meet the Needs of Funeral Directors and Consumers

The Funeral And Memorial Information Council recently approved of a Cremation: Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document. The FAQ is designed for funeral service consumers who may have questions regarding cremation. It is the result of NFDA's Consumer Protection Forum held in March 2002. NFDA is also offering a best practices document for funeral homes utilizing third-party crematories. The package was compiled using materials provided by the Cremation Association of North America (CANA), the International Cemetery & Funeral Association (ICFA) and NFDA. As part of this cooperative effort among these associations, this crematory due diligence package is available to members of each association.
