Robert C. Moore IV, CFSP, of Moore's Home for Funerals in Wayne, N.J., is the 2012-13 treasurer of the National Funeral Directors Association (NFDA) Executive Board.

As treasurer, Moore will be responsible for all funds, securities, deeds and other assets belonging to NFDA, while overseeing all business-related transactions. He will recommend changes to NFDA's investment policy, report on the Association's finances to the Executive Board, Policy Board and House of Delegates, and meet with external auditors on an as-needed basis. Moore will represent NFDA and its mission at state funeral association conventions, and serve on several committees and subcommittees.

Moore is a fourth generation funeral director who has worked at his family's firm since 1979. He became manager of Moore's Home for Funerals in 2004, and a co-owner in 2006. In addition to licensure in New Jersey, Moore has a limited funeral directors license in Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Funeral Service Practitioner.

Moore has shown a commitment to his profession through his service to the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association (NJSFDA) and NFDA. In addition to serving on numerous NJSFDA committees, Moore has held the offices of president, immediate past president, president-elect, first vice president and second vice president of NJSFDA.

On a national level, Moore served as New Jersey's representative to the NFDA Policy Board. He has served on several NFDA committees, such as Spokesperson, Member Resources, Budget, Audit and Public Relations. He previously served terms as an at-large representative and secretary on the NFDA Executive Board.
