IRS Offers Tax Relief To Oklahoma Tornado VictimsPosted: May 22, 2013 Return Filing and Tax Payment Deadlines Extended to Sept. 30 Following Monday's disaster declaration issued by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, the IRS announced that taxpayers affected by the severe storm and tornado in Oklahoma will receive special tax relief. This relief is for taxpayers in Cleveland, Lincoln, McClain, Oklahoma and Pottawatomie counties in Oklahoma; other locations may be added in coming days based on additional damage assessments by FEMA.
